Partners
Building Charter School Quality (BCSQ), is a coalition comprised
of four national charter school organizations, authorizers and
researchers. Through support from the U.S. Department of Education,
the convening partners of BCSQ include the Colorado League of
Charter Schools (the League), CREDO at Stanford University, the
National Alliance for Public Charter Schools and the National
Association of Charter School Authorizers.
Colorado League of Charter Schools (the League)
The Colorado League of Charter Schools is a non-profit,
membership organization dedicated to helping Colorado charter
schools reach higher levels of student performance and overall
success by providing information and resources, including technical
support, advocacy, public relations assistance, and much more.
Currently there are 170 charter school campuses across Colorado
serving over 70,000 students.

CREDO aims to improve decision making in K-12 public education
through rigorous program evaluation and policy analysis, and
support to education agencies in using the insights that come from
sound research to shape program and policy development.

The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools is the leading
national non-profit organization committed to advancing the charter
school movement. The Alliance works to increase the number of
high-quality charter schools available to all families,
particularly in disadvantaged communities that lack access to
quality public schools. The Alliance also provides assistance to
state charter school associations and resource centers, develops
and advocates for improved public policies, and serves as the
united voice for this large and diverse movement.

NACSA is unique in the charter school movement. It is devoted
exclusively to improving public education by improving the policies
and practices of the organizations responsible for authorizing
charter schools. Quality authorizing leads to quality charter
schools, and NACSA is creating the environment of expectations,
relationships, practices, policy, and resources for authorizers to
excel.
